I don't see those girls slaying as much as Katy. And those two have vocal talent to back them up :ohwell:

Thus, if many people work with Dr. Luke, but Katy if by far most successful, she must give real Value Added to the songs (with her songwriting or videos or whatever).

No reasonable person writes off Katy because of a couple vocal misadventures with a couple songs, anymore than they boycott Gaga because they hate the meat dress or her dressing like a man.

I think Dark Horse is the last big hit you'll see from Katy until PRISM era is over. It was one of the two songs on the album that could be commercially successful (the other being Roar). There is really nothing left on the album. The other songs, like Birthday, attempting to be smashes, will not be because they aren't as favorable and memorable as her past singles like California Gurls or E.T. Oh, and a word about her tour selling well... I see a commercial about the prismatic tour all over youtube and even here.. so :'/ Haven't seen one artRave ad.

More proof that Interscope's more about profit, not caring about damaging brand, while Capitol's more about making Katy a huge brand.

I honestly, by the way, think that Walking On Air is a potential Top 3 hit, and that that'd be the last hit off the album. PRISM is getting re-released this autumn so it wouldn't matter much anyways: the re-release will probably have a few more smash hits.

Is that based on any sources? Or just an educated guess?

Whispering

Thing is, Katy will keep getting bigger and bigger to a point where she's the biggest. SHE already is, kinda. But i can see Capitol making Katy the 'it' girl of the 10's or at least trying to.

That remains to be seen. She isn't the biggest, not now and not when compared to others at their peaks.

When was it ever confirmed Prism was getting a re-release?  I feel like a lot of things have been said on this thread today, that weren't necessarily backed up by facts.
