People care about Katy ,that's a fact

They care about Gaga too

They care about every popular artist because they are POPULAR and they are popular because people care about them

Very true.

Obviously, there are more people in the U.S that like/care about Katy since her singles sell more.

But 2x Platinum singles don't grow on trees either.

Price of Fame

44. Lady Gaga - ARTPOP

40 Lady Gaga  Do What U Want (feat. R. Kelly)

55 Lady Gaga  Applause

Compared to where she was a week and a half ago this is great. Ugh a Grammy performance would have done so much for her (top 20 for ARTPOP?).  :ohwell:

Then be consistent and bash Pink and Kelly Clarkson, cause they've been Dr. Luke girls too.

Most uber-successful pop girls have a solid producer behind then, it's not Katy's fault Gaga broke away from RedOne.

I don't really think Katy is "talentless" (there are other thoughts I have about her than that), but Kelly and Pink can sing their faces off! Katy cannot. Kelly and Pink are consistently excellent live vocalists. Katy is not. Kelly can sing circles around Katy and Pink is one of the very best live performers currently performing today. There is no comparing them with Katy.

Maybe Madonna will do his part  :toofunny:

Madonna's singing Same Love with Macklemore :P

Anyways, I've read this interesting thing at Billboard.com

"People around the world discover music in familiar ways. Ipsos found the most common ways to discover new music is radio (35%) and TV programs (33%), followed by social networking sites (32%) and word of mouth (31%). These are also the most common ways to discover new music in the U.S., according to an August 2011 survey by NPD Group and NARM. However, radio is used for music discovery by 60% of U.S. consumers and TV programs are a source of discovery for 49% of them."

So worldwide, we can say that videos have a much bigger impact than in the US, and that airplay isn't as important outside the US as in the US.

I think I started this argument about people not caring about Katy :toofunny:
And I meant that they don't care about her as in the same way they care about Gaga. That's all

but we can also say that Videos are really important for the USA as well, while some people are arguing that they are not :awkney:

wait

Lorde is performing Royals again and not Team?

  Gurl bye

Royals is up for Record and Song of the Year and has a good chance of winning both. The Grammy nomination concert doesn't get high ratings, so it doesn't really matter if she performed it there.

GRAMMYs reach 1/10 of the US citizens, idk it seems quite important but she can do without it. A Grammy performnce wouldn't push album sales more than 50k anyways.

Is it possible for some WW act to perform at the Eurovision as a Guest?

I think Shane Dawson was pretty much on the money with his critique of Lady Gaga. She's a bit pretentious and immature. Hopefully as she grows older, she will make the most out of her talents and not try to dismiss anything and everything that doesn't agree with her 100 percent.

sorry but

who is he?

and what he said?

is the album still discounted?

it's great that it's still top 50 since it was in the 100 in the last week :toofunny:

Some irrelevant youtube parody maker had a meltdown and gave his critic to Gaga (also bashed Venus)
