chris777 112
Speaking of Australia, 36. Rihanna - Jump 78. Rihanna - Jump #22 combined The song was only sent to radios there yesterday. I was not expecting that
Klou 2,414
It's only an Australian release i think. DITD was a single in Australia? :eek:Ya it peaked at #24. Would have likely leaked higher with proper promo and a music video.

Gypsy Life 118,907
At least ARTPOP is still holding well worldwide with no hit Sales outside the US: Miley: 16k (50%) Gaga: 27k (80%) Katy: 32k (59%)
MonsterMum 2,532
At least ARTPOP is still holding well worldwide with no hit Sales outside the US: Miley: 16k (50%) Gaga: 27k (80%) Katy: 32k (59%) Global Icon
AURA 2,890
Thanks. That puts things in perspective. :) Doesn't really do it, all the albums had different release dates. TFM was the closest to ARTPOP (both November)
Luc 4,775
At least ARTPOP is still holding well worldwide with no hit Sales outside the US: Miley: 16k (50%) Gaga: 27k (80%) Katy: 32k (59%) 'holding well' b---h it's selling 32k/week only 2 months after its release it will need 3 years of 32k/week to outsell BTW WW. BTW was selling 5x more 10 weeks after its release, TeoG only got 1,5x more points 10 weeks after the release of BTW than DWUW 10 weeks after the release of ARTPOP, so not having a successful single out can't really be used as an excuse either. This was the promotion BTW got 10 weeks after its release, so the 'no promo!!' excuse can't either be used to justify ARTPOP's LOW sales. BTW promotion in the week of 2-9 August: August 02 - Gaga: Straight No Chaser Secret MTV Shoot (Day 1) August 03 - Gaga: Straight No Chaser Secret MTV Shoot (Day 2) August 05 - You and I Single Cover Released (via Twitter) August 08 - PopDust Interviews Lady Gaga August 09 - Lady Gaga Interviews Blondie August 03 - Gaga: Straight No Chaser Secret MTV Shoot (Day 2) August 05 - You and I Single Cover Released (via Twitter) It's not the 'no promo' or 'no successful single' or 'no DWUW video!!' that is to blame. It's the album, it's Gaga's image, it's the songs. People said ARTPOP would end up having more longetivity than Born This Way, but funnily enough Born This Way was selling just as much at this time of the year in 2012. While ARTPOP has been released 2 months and 2 weeks ago, and Born This Way had already been released for 8 months. While Gaga had no single on the radio, no promotion, but right now Gaga has DWUW on the radio with 90M AI, way more than Yoü and I or Marry the Night at its peak. Doesn't really do it, all the albums had different release dates. TFM was the closest to ARTPOP (both November) It shows how horrible ARTPOP is doing. Essence 235
It shows how horrible ARTPOP is doing. it's not doing great but it's not completely awful. and weren't you just saying it sold more than you expected it would?
