do u think that will help her?

If anything it will help her on radio. It won't create much of a sales boost, if any.

Does a tour actually help album sales? With the tour starting this spring, can ARTPOP have longevity by selling 20k in the us for a dozen of weeks?

Can someone answer please :emma:

It definitely can help.  Casual fans who know she puts on a great show come to see the spectacle, and if they like it, some will actually buy the album.  Also, as I posted earlier, when you buy tix on ticketmaster in Canada (not sure in other countries) there is an option to buy and download the album when you get your concert tix, so hopefully some people make an impulse buy to get the record since they're going to see the show.  Hopefully that's happening in other countries too.

I hope it's happening in other places too, especially the US. Madonna did that with MDNA and it helped boost her sales a lot.

None of the big stars are doing that hot on ITunes except Eminem and Lorde.I don't like comparing her to other artists but look where Katy, Miley, and eve b One Direction are on ITunes. They are the biggest stars, now and yet they are at # 10( just released ), #37 and # 25. I think this time of year people are buying more physical copies than digital, anyway.

Wow, the light just went on ! It is stocking stuffer time, that's why Itunes is not a good indicator of true chart position right now. Things will definitely pick up when all those itunes cards start getting used.

Married the Night

Unconditionally was such a poor choice. Dark Horse should have been single #2 then Walking on Air for single #3. Uncle should have been a promo single.
