chris777 112
Wait is this a joke This song spent 10 WEEKS at NUMBER ONE with those kinds of sales? I can't even Diamonds spent 3 weeks at #1 and sales were so low during november-december. 3x platinum ain't bad We Found Love was the one who spent 10 weeks at #1. get your facts straight
Essence 174
Is it true that Justin's record label asked that the sales of "Journals" would not be reported to Billboard? :smh:
Stefani328 321
Is it true that Justin's record label asked that the sales of "Journals" would not be reported to Billboard? Why would he even release an album? All of the songs that were released on ITunes dropped like a rock.
Freddy 4,421
Is it true that Justin's record label asked that the sales of "Journals" would not be reported to Billboard? Yes it is. They did not want to break his #1 streak, so no sales were reported and the album never charted in the top 200. Note that this is US only, it charted worldwide (and missed alot of top 40 positions)
Klou 2,414
No, you aren't hacking anything You're creating competition, which is best done when a single is going to hit its peak or the peak position That way your single can attract the attention, etc which gives it more points than the other single, which in turn lowers the points of the opposing single if that makes sense at all since I tend to rambleWhat are you even talking about? Your logic is stating that people can't like more than one song at the same time. It's not logical at all.

Disregard 50
How come there is always some random song that I've never heard that is slaying iTunes, and when I finally decide to listen to it after seeing it on the charts for weeks or months, it's not even good? Passenger's Let Her Go is the latest.
Ascetic 0
We found love sold only 5M (thanks for the correction gurl) and still charted for 10 weeks at the top? What sparse competition Also if you think about what I said it does make sense with the points since billboard uses those as ways of issuing positions
leoj 2
most of rihanna's #1's don't sell that much.. most of gaga's non #1s that went 3x platinum did better than rihanna's telephone for example sold way more than rude boy.. or only girl
