MikeyMoonShine 0 Posted December 15, 2013 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Another thing, It's sad to see people praise Beyoncè only because she is selling well and denigrate Gaga with ARTPOP only because she didn't have the 'Beyoncè effect', I still prefer ARTPOP, especially for the content and the quality of music, maybe this 'Art' thing was not her best project like concept, but the music that she's done still is, and she is a singer, the music in first line. Tbh though that's not fair on Gaga. Even though her art direction isn't so popular Beyonce's feminism direction is a disaster. We just found out about the sales, and people are praising her since the second she dropped her album ... Although of course the success always helps .. Just imagine how many people would've dragged BTW if It sold 200-300k Instead of 1M Well, I speak for my reality, there are a lot of italian blog or users from others board, that they never been interest to her and now they only praising her for the sells... I am not saying everybody but a lot of people. For the music, is not bad, but it's the kind of music that you cand find also in Ciara latest album, nothing innovative. I love her. But it's another thing by downright bashing Gaga. What I meant to say is that, there's a certain group of trolls who happen to be Beyonce fans, who keep knocking Gaga and her direction of ARTPOP, and they make thread after thread about it. I can agree with that, but a lot of people that make a thread about it are still Gaga's fans, there is nothing wrong to not agree with Gaga and to notice when she makes mistakes etc.. To do that, Gaga needed to get rid of Troy (and now she did) Let's be positive about Act 2 and etc.. if there is Act. II. jk let's be positive. there will be! I do really like the album but B really doesn't understand feminism all that well tbh Jay z's Ike Turner reference I am not dragging Gaga for that, it's difficult to explain my point of view in this argument with english words, I'll try to be short, for me it's more important the quality of the music respect the concept of an album, it doesn't matter, if it's visual, artistic or about s-x. I only said that maybe this 'Art' concept of Gaga isn't arrived to the GP, but for sure the quality of music in my opinion (nothing is objective when we talk about music) is superior to Beyoncè and others female recent pop albums ;) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
