I don't recall them having two US females - even when it was Rihanna's Loud vs Katry's TD vs Gaga launching BTW. Even Kylie only performed solo the 2 years she won Best Int. Female. The album is going Gold in the U.S either way so w/e Applause will cross 2M soon and DWUW is slaying a bit Same, I only care about singles this era. Pop albums generally get overshadowed in Xmas market by seasonal products (Xmas albums, stuff bought by adults as gifts). Personally, I think Roar is super basic, but I can understand the appeal of the song because of its "inspirational" nature and catchy-ness. Unconditonally though? It's basic and boring and the GP isn't here for that. "Wedding song of the year" I doubt the song has any hope...high AI, music video, more than one televised performance, even a cover on the voice etc. etc. and it's stayed roughly in the top 20 of both itunes and billboard Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

CharlesReyna 0 Posted December 6, 2013 Share Posted December 6, 2013 The really sad part for me is that alot of her fans and people who follow her don't really "get" the ARTPOP thing but they love the music when they hear it so it's just strikes me crazy that the music is not the main feature but the "circus" surrounding it.
