hausofmike 127
OMG that's horrible NINE MILLION people tuned in to Big Bang Theory?! I hate that show. Not bad for Gaga and the Muppets, though. :) Not totally awesome, but also not a flop. It's usually 18-20m on new episodes 10-13m Re runs
Katy Perry 1
NINE MILLION people tuned in to Big Bang Theory?! I hate that show. Blasphemy! It's such a good show. Honestly, Thanksgiving has become irrelevant anyway. The ratings are fine.
Slojo 51
The A Very Gaga Thanksgiving special aired I believe at 8pm.Thank you ---- That's the answer then. You can't compare a primetime slot with a late evening slot. You have to compare like for like with what ratings they usually get in the 10.30 to midnight slots. Mister G 10,430
NINE MILLION people tuned in to Big Bang Theory?! I hate that show. Not bad for Gaga and the Muppets, though. :) Not totally awesome, but also not a flop. An ounce of positivty because it seems like anything this woman does related to ARTPOP results in complete backlash and negativity from her own fans, which is disturbing if you ask me. People keep forgetting that sports networks are the only networks that are really generating ratings, or networks that air games are pulling in the ratings. TV in general is phasing out with all the abilities to stream live online, download a torrent file, or even the websites that pull new episodes and seasons of shows shortly after original airing. You also have people that RedBox or NETFLIX everything these days for a simple monthly charge. This really isn't a matter of fans refusing to live in reality like some people say, or that she's turning into a Katy Perry mess. People watch football on Thanksgiving night, not a Christmas special when it's not even Christmas. Plus, people forget that this year Black Friday started like 6 hours early and everyone was too busy shopping to watch TV in general X_X Thank you ---- That's the answer then. You can't compare a primetime slot with a late evening slot. You have to compare like for like with what ratings they usually get in the 10.30 to midnight slots. Some people on here can't and won't ever be pleased--their choice ultimately. The way I see it, if everything including a holiday special that I thought was very well done is considered a flop then there's no need to follow Gaga any longer. Why entertain someone or give them an ounce of energy if all they're doing is disappointing??

aaronyoji 2,054
well as always, sports and bro culture reigns over everything else #notpressedatall.... but, there's nothing relative to compare this to, so i'd still say it was a success! her vocals where so spot on. i loved the raspyness she had during MANiCURE. It deserved to flop. I'm not here for Gaga turning into a Katy Perry sized mess! for someone who likes bjork thats a pretty dumb-sized mess of a statement you just made
