Poor Katy :smh:

And its not really like Judas, its not doing well, but its hanging around longer than Judas did. Judas peaked both digitally and on radio within a week of its release :rip:

Yes but Judas is much bigger WW AND it also reached top 10 in the BB hot 100. It also has a huge video.

Well, we know that if Unconditionally would have been released before the album launch, it would have peaks in top 10 almost everywhere. To bad for them, that they decided to not do that.

Remember when we joked about Katy having her Judas with Unconditionally?

Then we heard it and said "yeah there's no chance that'll happen. This song is a smash"

So we should see the Applause physical fly up Oricon within the next few days?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last week Hold On sold 61,000 putting it at #15.

Where were Applause/DWUW last week in comparison to Hold On?

Yes, but not just the Oricon chart, the Oricon singles chart actually isn't very relevant for international artists. Most of the sales for artists like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and One Direction for singles come from iTunes. So yes, we should see it skyrocket to #1 on iTunes singles, albums, video charts just like with Avril Lavigne 1-2 weeks ago when she did Music Station too. And Gaga has SMAPxSMAP, which Katy, 1D and Avril didn't.

where is france? they need to hurry and stan!

France isn't stanning for Gaga this era (yet). Applause did meh, ARTPOP did meh and DWUW is doing meh. Good thing she's doing promotion there.

I remember everybody expecting Katy to skyrocket to #1 and me being realistic saying that she won't because of the pre-orders for CHARTTOP and the JB song.

Are we ready for tomorrow's prediction?

My guess is 60-65k. Hppefully I am wrong and it ends up selling 70k+.

The Monster may as we'll be #1 on radio because it's on every station I switch to. At least it's good.

Are they usually spot on with Black Friday predictions too?

This is probably the most unpredictable week.
