BloodyMaryJane 7
dont mock her, remember when we mocked her album sales? I expected Katy to sell much much better than Gaga anyway When Roar became #1 and Applause did not, everyone was up saying Gaga would slay Katy in record sales... then look what happened... could you all please stop this type of comments, it pretty much seems conceitedness is giving Gaga the bad luck. I'm seeing unconditionally going up in the charts as DWYW sinks to bottoms of the ocean :toofloppy: It doesn't look like it... SO FAR... But DWYW deserves more success. LadyGagaFlash 0
Moderate success is the key of this era. I will be more than happy to see her #1 on the first week, and who know, maybe she could be #1 the 2nd week if this week she will make some good promo! I'd rather see her more than 1 month on the top 10 than 1 week in top 1 with +450K. Let's be all real! Less than 250K for the first week. My prediction is 230/250K. It's normal, I wish she could do more and more. :sweep: :sweep:

I'm seeing unconditionally going up in the charts as DWYW sinks to bottoms of the ocean :toofloppy: To suggest that DWUW falls flat in comparison with KP's 2nd single is nothing but a fallacy. First and foremost, DWUW is currently selling higher than Unconditionally on iTunes as we speak, well mainly because of the SNL performance. Secondly, even though Unconditionally got a higher chart position than DWUW in the HOT 100 chart last week, thanks to radio's massive support, DWUW wasn't "sinking" at all. Rather, it's actually rising (from #58-#48), even prior to the SNL stint. And besides, it still has a higher peak so far anyway. Third, DWUW actually just got a higher overall update on radio than KP's single, more than doubled. I'm not trying to discredit the success of Unconditionally at all, BUT these indications are clearly not implying that DWUW is anywhere near "sinking." Yeah, both are nowhere near peaking yet since both are actually rising in the charts, as expected. And the rise would continue as their respective promotions kick in for the rest of 2013. And honestly, I could only see a top five entry for the both of them, assuming their music videos could really generate buzz and interest for casual fans to actually buy. But would either hit the top spot? I doubt it. Eminem and Rihanna's The Monster is literally a monster hit-in-the-making, a type of single that could spend more than a month atop the charts throughout 2013. MikeyMoonShine 0
I can't believe there are fans out there who didn't buy it, It was even discounted in the US at certain stores. I am skint and I still got two copies ffs. (last time I dropped my btw as soon as I got it and had to get a new one coz I couldn't stand the cracked case, so I have one to keep hidden in case something happens to my main one, plus ofc to support her <3) Anyway Unconditionally might outsell DWUW just coz it's Katy Perry. DWUW is a much better song and I don't say that as A gaga fan, it just is. But KP is huge atm, her promo is fantastic and she will get lots of radio play, as well as that flashy video. Plus that awful sleaze Terry Richardson is directing the DWUW vid so I could imagine it being something like wrecking ball and Gaga getting hate for copying Miley ect. This could be a disaster so lets just hope it isn't.
