(Side note - can't wait to see what kind of tech company Troy Carter is going to put together since he couldn't design anything more than a basic and flawed album app for his biggest star.) She is going to debut at #1 in spite of the hate campaign being waged against her in the media by the vile and revolting Perez Hilton who has gleefully harassed her with false online stories and even openly tweeted illegal links to her album. Too bad her 'manager' was too distracted and/or too afraid of stepping on toes and allowed this harassment of his biggest star to go on unchecked. Apparently he thinks that Hilton will just get bored and go away, but it's pretty obvious that's not going to happen. She is going to debut at #1 in spite of everything. Awesome! Interscope won't be so happy if she doesn't reach at least 1 million for the first week Album sales are down across the board. Interscope knows she isn't going to sell a million. Guest Posted November 19, 2013 Share Posted November 19, 2013 Of course I want her to do well and sell a lot, but I don't give three s**** if it's higher than Miley or Katy or anyone else's first week sales...and who cares what other fan bases say about Gaga? They're not supporting so their opinions are irrelevant. I'm ecstatic that she's gonna be #1, not only in the US but also in UK and Japan! That's amazing, and I'm so proud. Who cares about numbers? A #1 is a #1, and ARTPOP deserves that title. When people look back twenty years from now, they'll say "Gaga got her second #1 album in 2013 with ARTPOP" not "ARTPOP went #1 in 2013 but it's not that important because PRISM and Bangerz sold a little more so their #1's are more important." You shouldn't have a meltdown if you didn't even go purchase the album Tell me why i clocked it last week saying "the only reason her sales arent that great is because some of her own fans arent even buying the album," and i got soo much sh-t for saying that. Im glad now people are waking up and admitting that some people need to get it together and get the album and stop complaining about sales if you didnt even have the decency to go buy it.
