Stefani328 321 Posted November 9, 2013 Share Posted November 9, 2013 you're so exaggerating i can't...... the performances wasn't boring AT ALL. dwuw had some shaky moments but the vocals were good overall. and venus was literally perfect, not even a single bad note. plus, for dwuw there's nothing wrong with just standing and singing a song with an outfit. that's simple and enough for that song This. I know fans love the theatrics, but they aren't helping Gaga. People on Twitter seem to love the performance. It is best she keeps it simple and jus use her voice and instead of relying on props to perform. She was a little off key, but her vocals weren't horrible. I honestly think they expect her to pull off the 2009 VMAs on every fvcking TV show. Understand her when she says "more and more of less and less." There is a reason why we're not getting elaborate set designs like performing inside a tank full of goo. And I think it's having a wonderful outcome because it's putting the focus on her as a singer, rather than a gimmick performer. YESSSS. I love Gaga to death but you have to be delusional if you think she hasn't turned off people because of her gimmicks. In 2009, the gimmicks were awesome and people loved them. Every performance has been like this since the era started. I'm left feeling totally empty. I feel like I tuned out completely during Venus. That was an amazing performance...what do you want more?!? Her performance was amazing. Her performance style is just as great, if not even greater than it was two years ago. It's just become fashionable now for some "fans" to criticise everything Gaga does because her sales aren't as great as they used to be and the critics aren't giving universal acclaim to her album. These are probably the same "fans" who wanted DWUW to flop because she chose it over Venus. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!! In two years, when she comes out with the next album, you'll be complaining about the exact same thing and saying "where was the passion we saw in the Graham Norton Venus performance two years ago?"
