SNL should give it a pretty big boost on Sunday and heading into next week. And then there's Ellen, which should help a little, and then AMAs/Black Friday the next week. I'd say we're in a good position right now. I mean, Katy stayed #1 until Saturday. But you also have to keep in mind that she didn't have a huge force right below her. Then if Eminem is projected to sell say 325K this week, about 80K will be via itunes. But so far ARTPOP is #1 on itunes, and even if it falls to #2 for the rest of the week there should still be the 80K sales for ARTPOP via new itunes sales. So add that to the estd 105K itunes preorders and ARTPOP will have 185K from itunes alone. Then add to that Amazon physical preorders and over-the-counter sales... what does this mean? BUT GAGA would have still obliterated her. OMG Rihanna's unapologetic sold 99,000 copies in its first week in UK. If she performs worse than Katy and Miley in the first week it will be awful for her but that's not gonna happen at worst she will do only slightly better.
