I said Oz and maybe NZ were special cases - about the only ones I worried Em's 2nd week might beat her. Gaga's first day itunes sales still might trump Em being ahead several days later in the week. Eminem has: 1. A gigantic fanbase 2. Tons of promotional singles, singles and now another single 'The Monster' 3. Last new album was in early 2010 4. He's done lots of promo in the US tbh. He has a large fanbase in Australia, and he has been promoted here since he is headlining the Rapture festival early 2014. Applause peaked at #2, and DWUW has just come off it's peak of #5 but I'm sure it'll rise again. At the end of the day, geographical promotion is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
