No one gives a crap about iTunes streams TBH. They must get like 3 listeners. And no one cares about leaks except fans, so I feel like a lot of people havent heard much of the record outside of Applause. If its on VEVO maybe it could get banners. Prism was #20 at this point and dropped to #31 on Tuesday. I didnt see any banners from a long time. On Youtube they arent anymore and Ive read on ATRL that VEVO wont promote anymore audio videos. Digital copies have tended to account for ~30% of opening week album sales for GaGa. It'd get way more exposure on Vevo Interscope used iTunes radio for Eminem and then VEVO for MIA, so I guess we'll see tomorrow (or Weds if they want O2 to get an exclusive stream day first) which they pick. I agree that VEVO would get her a lot of buzz. People would share the songs on FB/Twitter which makes a big difference. I know when Eminem or Katy put new songs out, its always on my FB feed "Omg i love this new song!" linked to Youtube. Word of mouth. But I think the stream is important for Itunes users, who will can preorder simple and quick while listen the album. Thats true as well. Pros and cons of each.
