It was really worrying me, then InterGod released the best news ever. It wasn't until she started calling it futuristic that I had a funny feeling it wouldn't be very radio friendly. The problem was her laziness when it comes to making promo and pressuring radio to play the damn songs. The when she performs, she just doesn't perform the singles. The other was a massive promotional campaign in which MILLIONS were probably invested. A truck, full page ads on the biggest newspapers in the country, a massive radio deal that played past and current hits on POWER ROTATION from Katy on over 170 stations across MULTIPLE formats including the album in its ENTIRETY, and then obviously SNL and other promotional performances. Special deluxe edition packaging including seeds. And discounts. And then being supported by a lead single that holds the record for fastest time to cross the 3M mark in the US. Yeah they sound good on the radio, but she just can't fool people into thinking that's really show she is. She should release more powerful ballads like We Remain and Light Up the Sky. I don't think people see her s-xually anymore, so she should shed the Dirrty days once and for all and focus on cultivating a mature, refined image to stand out among all the s-x kittens currently dominating pop music.
