Universally relatable = generic love ballad with nothing to make it special for anyone. It's not going anywhere. i think that people feel like she's not being true to her artistry or whatever, but then thats kind of like saying that the safe songs are just sell-out songs idk, I kinda see both sides because people want to see the performances and videos of their fave songs, but people need to understand that this is a business at the end of the day and this is Gaga's job. I'm really excited for this album because, unlike BTW, I've fallen in love with pretty much every track I've heard instantly. Ill wait for the studio version but that snippet isnt doing me justice. Other than that all her songs sound amazing, love at first listen. All the information we have on the song indicates that it'll be in the vein of TEOG. It's not a straight up ballad. I'm preparing myself for this album to be torn to shreds by the critics. The title alone will set them against her. Sad, since what we've heard from this album so far easily has twice the catchiness, song craft, and personality of any of the other pop releases. But Bangerz and Prism will probably be more favorably reviewed by some publications. She always has to work twice as hard and accomplish twice as much to get half as far with critics.
