Wrecking ball also went #1 right after it's release and fell so ****ing hard the day after, and look where it's now! DWUW needs promo and radio-support. Also, DWUW is dominating Itunes in France : http://kworb.net/popfr/ I cant beleive loads of people said it would be a 'local' hit... as if they only still listen to bad eurodance crap in Europe... Applause debuted at #3 on the French charts yet Applause FLOPPED HARD there. The fact that it managed to stay at #1 for almost two days shows that the public like the song and bought it even after the pre-order effect wore off. It's got a really positive reception and it's a song for everyone. I think this will do much better than Venus would have, radios are picking it up already.
