I wish she'd kept the same font personally :noparty: But at least the frame is still there, and probably will be throughout the rest of the era

I think she should ditch the frame, whilst it works for Applause I don't think it does for this.  If she continues to use the frame for each single cover I feel they will start to lack a sense of uniqueness and will look a little too similar.

nobody's gonna take her seriously if she keeps selling her body this way. She should use her amazing voice and creativity to get general public, not her ass. Act like a slut and they will treat you as a slut. Act like a singer and that's how they'll see you.

Relax, it's a photo for a promo single. Nobody will be talking about it tomorrow. Also everybody's already made up their minds about Gaga, so she's just playing up to the public perception.

Embracing s-xuality ≠ being a slut.

You can embrace your s-xuality and still be respected for your music and singing ability.

Don't act like this is the first time you've ever seen a pic of her ass, it's been there since Just Dance

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Hey hey wait just a second...

1. There's nothing wrong with being s-xual. :crossed:

2. Gaga has always been s-xual, but I wouldn't say she's ever been "slutty" (tbh I don't even like using that word though)

3. If people think that being s-xual or having s-xual themes in your work and quality music/talent/creativity can't coexist, that's a bigger problem than Gaga "acting like a slut."

Also I really don't think "selling" her body was the point of this cover, but I've said that so many times that I'm probably starting to annoy people so I'll stop there :cryga:

You should never take what Gaga does at face value. She's a smart woman, there's a purpose to her every move. For Do What U Want, it's a double attack on the men who have "used" her in the past, as well as the media and public scrutiny of her image, her BODY.

The lyrics go, "You can't have my heart / And you won't use my mind / But you can do what you want with my body." So for the cover image, she's literally giving you what you wanted in the first place. It's self-empowering in a new-age feminist way, because it is her own choice to use her own body like that, instead of people cruelly taking it from her. Her alluring derriere is served to you on a platter - so what are you going to do about it?

But at the same time, don't fool yourself - her mind and heart remains intact, and you won't have either of those. This is my interpretation anyway.
