Given the track record of Gaga being one of the biggest female album sellers in pop music, I'd say 4 million WW at the end of its chart run would be an understatement. As a comparison, I think Prism is at around 90k now. I could be totally totally wrong though. Im curious to see HDD update their preorder info. If Im right though I think Prism could sell 500k+ the first week. Its hard to predict ARTPOP yet because theres so much she has to do: album cover, tracklist, promo songs, second single.... But ARTPOP should easily have preorders over 100k by the time of release and that means it likely will sell at least 400k first week imo That seems too high for Prism but I agree on ARTPOP. It will be really amazing for Gaga to have all of her albums pass that mark. Imagine seeing all her albums exceeding more than 5 million sales each by the end of 2014. Is Walking on Air still projected to sell more than Applause this week? I mean..... I doubt it. WOA is now at the same position on iTunes of WorkB days ago. No, I haven't been following Bangerz but of what Ive seen I think it may surprise people by how much it sells. I think my Prism number may be high too because of it having had a banner on itunes the past week. It could be more like 80k. Those are just estimates though, I don know if my method is any good or not. Ive never done this before. Thats why Im looking forward to HDD updating the preorder numbers to see how close I am. btw that 400k for ARTPOP is the floor. I want to see how iTunes reacts to the all the stuff that's coming in the next couple of weeks. I sense the excitement building though. ARTPOP could be really big after all.
