He calls in from his home and talks for like 10 min about celebrity gossip but lately its been all about Miley. The other day he said he was at his apartment in New York and Carson was like "oh yea where you were stalking gaga". He is on mon-fri at like 7:40 am pacific time and its a huge radio station obviously. Today when Carson was defending gaga he said she is on a level with her fans where she is talking them off of cliffs and Miley is just swinging naked on a wrecking ball. The single is dying very slowly, it will top the 2million mark and Gaga will release the second single in about 2 weeks and the heavy ARTPOP promotion will begin. The album promotion will also promote Applause. Untill then the song is doing fine on it's own. I'd prefer her to release a promotional single now tbh... I originally projected it would hit 2 million by the end of November, but it's looking like it will be beyond that if sales continue to decline at the rate they currently are.
