They still won't play it that much more. Like the song isn't leaving the top 10 on billboard or on itunes yet radio still won't stand behind it as adamantly as they do roar. its so annoying lol

It's TOTALLY crushing the polls, but I still hear Blurred Lines and Roar more than Applause.

 

All these votes are NOT coming from LMs, but rather the GP (see the Pop Justice brilliant article), so I still don't understand radio's hesitation in playing Applause when the demand is this high!

I'm hoping they don't jump into the second single right now.

 

Applause is obviously being well received and I believe it will grow. I really want Gaga and Interscope to keep with Applause, I believe it has the power to become a bigger hit.

 

Maybe this is all part of their strategy? I know I'm reaching, but maybe they just don't want the public to get tired of the song by listening to it every hour.
