I don't think their punishment is something that would affect the competition. The punishment would probably be a fat payment ticket or even get disqualified from next year. Not to enforce stereotypes, but I'm be more expecting to hear homophobic comments come from people in countries like Russia, Belarus, Armenia etc, than I would in countries such as Denmark, Netherlands, and Sweden.
