Bad Bunny-directed short film premieres as companion piece to upcoming album

Global music superstar Bad Bunny has dropped a new short film, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos, that is linked to the record. Written and directed by Benito A. Martínez Ocasio (Bad Bunny) and Arí Maniel Cruz Suárez, the film stars the legendary Jacobo Morales — a beloved icon of Puerto Rican culture and one of the most influential filmmakers in the island’s history. The album will drop on January 5.  source

That was amazing and truly immerses you into the real experience of Puerto Rico. I lived there for a short time in 2020 and this short film really drives home a lot of the widespread issues affecting the island. Say what you will about Bad Bunny, but everyone should watch this. This is happening all over the world.

I know I suck at singing but Ill still criticize a bad vocalist. The fact I suck even more is kinda besides the point, I did not go into singing so I dont have to be held to that standard, someone whos a singer on the otherhand is

This made me emotional. Gentrification really destroys original cultures and replaces it with soulless corporate culture. 

Bad Bunny loves Puerto Rico and you can tell this album is a love letter to PR.

One of the songs “Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii” which means "What happened to Hawaii" is clearly gonna be a message about colonization.
