If I'm not wrong the most digital pre ordered album ever, which is '20/20', received 140K, less than 100K to ARTPOP and we still have 2 months more and 'Applause' hasn't been so smashing as 'Born This Way' the single. As the Michael Jackson quote said, "the bigger the star, the bigger the target". That action alone from the other fanbases shows how much Gaga is still seen as a threat, or at least a force, to be reckoned with despite all the seemingly drawbacks being projected by the media.
