craig 680
Prism didnt have preorder for the first 2 weeks. A sign she has a less album oriented sales plan.
Jjang 2,262
Re-read my post. That's from the article. Katy's last album sold more than Gaga in the US. Only the pre-orders for ARTPOP tripled PRISM's. I just said that considering Katy's accomplishments/promo last era, those numbers are disappointing. Got it now? Okay, still the point is that Gaga's a much stronger albums seller.

Luc 4,775
Calm down, Katy's fanbase isn't anywhere near Gaga's anyways. Katy's fanbase is like 4x smaller over the whole world and like 2x smaller in the US.

Doogi 1,506
This era is selling really badly so far… I'm Chloe. Except the C and the L are silent.
Blues 0
How is the number small? It's two months left until the album is released and 45k people has already pre ordered the album after only hearing applause.

Mills 446
Calm down, Katy's fanbase isn't anywhere near Gaga's anyways. Katy's fanbase is like 4x smaller over the whole world and like 2x smaller in the US. The numbers we've seen so far beg to differ, unfortunately. The sales for the lead singles, particularly the first-week sales, are usually driven by the fanbase. Those numbers could actually hint us on the size of their respective fan bases right now, well at least in the US. Needless to say, all eyes would be on their respective opening weeks once Prism and ARTPOP are released later this year. Only then we could find out who's really out for a massive era. Anyway, this news is only an indication that Gaga's an album-mover than a single-seller, a notion already widely accepted by almost everyone, including her harshest critics. Star 4,409
You’ll recall that Katy’s last album sold 2.7m, while Gaga moved 2.3m. Are they reliable when they said that? They should have know that Katy did receive release. Not to mention that movie as well as 6 #1. The obsession is real.
