people, blurred ****ing lines, promoting s-xual harassment frm a skeeze bag who just fingered someone who isnt his wife, has a platinum single. it would be absurd for s-x dreams to get any scorn, but it will because shes a woman. THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE. the problem isn't gaga, the problem is the unfair s-xual responsibility that society puts on women and not at all on men.

I can't at ya'll thinking this would be good 1st (or any) single material and what's with all the Applause & BTW era bashing?

Applause has the same 'larger than life' quality that Born This Way (song) has. BTW defining her being (I am that way, deal with it), Applause defining her doing (as a jester, living to entertain). It is a easily promotable song with depth and an amazing theme that offers a large spectrum of meanings, concepts and layers of understanding.

Sex Dreams could never be promotable, it talks about adultery and nasty s-x, you know how the GP responds to that. We know it has a greater meaning but the first reaction would have alienated her so so much with the GP. It's so sultry, filthy and intoxicating it would never come across as a (feminist) s-xual liberation anthem either.

I think the first reaction would have been a huge Madonna Sex era comparison backlash. She's been naked all the time lately and not extremely blamed for it because within an artistic concept that is far from s-xuality. Imagine that with Sex Dreams, "Desperate naked Gaga tries to sell s-x" I can already see it.

I love the grotesque aspect this era is taking with the swine theme, the clown make-up and the crafty shell punk look. Sex Dreams could eventually fit into that if she makes it a point to bring out the grotesque in pop culture and the world's fear of s-x, especially s-xual women. But she kinda needs to prepare the ground if she wants to mess with people's insecurities, be it with Aura/Burqa or Sex Dreams.

Don't take it the wrong way, I am LIVING for that snippet, but I'm sure that right now, as a single, it would undermind all the serious deep work she's put out before. I think this is a song for the fans, because we adore her as a highly s-xual, fearless 'talk about everything' figure, and we know that this doesn't define her.

I agree.

Applause was and still is the perfect lead single for this album. Y'all can take the charts and shove them up your holes !

I am not worried about the way people will see her because of such an openly s-xual song, **** them,it's just that thereare so many interesting themes she has presented and hinted at, I really want them to be explored

It's weird because loads of s-xual songs become hits

At least, that's what I keep noticing, no matter male or female act.

Sex is the most exploited theme in pop history, s-x always sells.

Even if people b---h about how controversial BL is (I see it as a drunken and high guy desperately trying to convince a girl to hook up with him for the night, not a rapist or anything, pretty lame actually) they ARE STILL BUYING THAT **** !

Dancing With My Self

(uh uh uh uh-oh)

:music:

Take another drink

Give me time to think

If I had the chance I'd ask the world to dance

and not be dancing with myself!

:Chica::music:

Actually i was refering to, Divinyls - I Touch Myself.

I love myself, I want you to love me /

When I feel down, I want you above me /

I search myself, I want you to find me /

I forget myself, I want you to remind me

I don't want, Anybody else

When i think about you, I touch myself

I still can't handle it. The mellow 70's rock vibe of this rehearsal, with the slow throbbing heartbeat-esque bass and beats. The lustful and almost lonely lyrics and the sultriness and boldness in which Gaga sings them. It's just ethereal. I'm still in awe. :flutter:

I can't imagine anyone else writing or singing this song but her. I love how Gaga is so unafraid of herself or her s-xuality. She is just a wonderful woman and artist. :legend:

This is going to be my theme song whenever I'm horny tbh. Bring on the s-x dreams!!! :nooo:
