n0ne 13,105 Posted November 13, 2013 Share Posted November 13, 2013 Finally listened to the whole album for the 1st time and loved it. I think it'll get better with each listen. I didn't think I would like Gypsy after hearing the live performances (which were good but I just didn't like the song) but I loved the studio version and think it would do great as a single. I like it more than The Edge of Glory and could see it doing better. I still want Swine to be a single, its impossibly catchy/commercial while still being very experimental, it would dominate clubs, and sounds like it would be great for spring or summer. Best songs: all the songs performed at Swinefest (besides Jewels N Drugs and Dope/I Wanna Be With You), Do What U Want, Venus, Gypsy Verdict still out on (need to listen to them more): Fashion, G.U.Y. Dontella, Mary Jane Holland Dope is growing on me and I like Gaga and Twista's parts in Jewels N Drugs "My people… need to let our bitchiness out. I think if GUY and Gypsy were switched then it'd be even better. I picture Gypsy being a really huge summer smash kind of like TEOG and GUY has a sort of dark winter vibe to it and could be released in February. A 5th is possible if it is a different version as a collab. or something. It will be better to conclude the era on a high rather than push it too far and get another MTN situation. Sexxx Dreams (May) - edgy enough to generate attention late in campaign, but not off-putting. ------ ACT2 (Launch: Aug) - #1 (Aug) - - #2 (Nov) - huge collab for PapaTele continuation. - #3 (Feb) - #4 (May) Cheek To Cheek Tour: 2014 (small string of concerts with Tony) ARTPOP 1+2 Tour: Early 2015 (longer wait builds demand and she'll need more hits to ensure success) Terry x Gaga film should be a TV special and/or put on YouTube, with a few cinematic showings at launch. Before ACT2 is released, she should appear on at least one huge collab. Probably with someone like Jay Z.
