soooo happy I found a piece of an album I've been looking for, for YEARS now, the DJ emailed it to me!

I found Mr. Pepo Madrid, who finally replied to me last week with this long lost piece of 2009 remix history!

This mix was so hot in 2009 that DJ David Cocas put it on his epic 'Lady Gaga: Dancing In The Light' series.

This series has mostly been lost to time on the lnternet, but I have managed to partially necromance vols. 1 & 2, and fully locate the original files of Vols. 3 & 4.

 

DJ Pepo Madrid's 2009 Megamix was Track 9 on Volume 1, and until now has beentotally lost online. Many thanks to the original creator for not having thrown it away, and for still maintaining an active Youtube channel!

Don't underestimate the work you have put into creating your collection. I wasn't a Gaga fan in the Fame era and sometimes I feel that I have missed so much. That's why I love those random old remixes and collections that you post occasionally. I truly hope you manage to restore the whole Dancing In The Light series. I'd like to hear them one day.

I'm pretty damn close.

I know the creator/compiler, Mr. David Cocas, a music producer/DJ in Brazil. he actually had all of them hosted on his huge blog, Music Is My Life. He had them on Mediafire, which a few years ago, locked out and deleted all of his files. Then, to make matters worse, his external drive which held all his music crashed.

Vol's 3 and 4 are fully intact, i found them online in 2011 and 2012. Vol's 1 and 2 are not locatable in full online anymore, but i found the next best thing: a snapshot of what they looked like with tracklistings.

The tracklistings were a godsend because they allowed me just Google the exact name of the song and the remixer, until I was able to build the album back together, one song at a time, by finding them individually.

For our GGD Christmas Celebration in 2012, I released a 'necromanced' Vol. 1 of 'Lady Gaga: Dancing In The Light'. You can see it here
