RAMROD 114,315
Well, guess what? Slayyyter is back and she’s better (and more awful!) than ever. After staring down 30, experiencing a career lull, and contemplating quitting music altogether, the singer staked her future in the industry on the fate of her fourth record. There’s nothing like a kick in the ass: On WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, she comes screaming onto the beat with fresh urgency. Deploying a series of small tweaks that nonetheless feel like a total reinvention, Slayyyter doubles down on misbehavior while simultaneously opening up new lanes of creative potential. Slayyyter is the beneficiary of a shifting tide that’s given mainstream pop a gradual and intermittent willingness to meet unique artists on their own terms, provided they have something exciting to offer. In a phenomenon that’s now clearly downstream from BRAT, singers who’d been written off or long overlooked are now hotter than ever. The Khia asylum was revealed to have been a prison of the audience’s imaginations. On the cusp of quitting outright, Slayyyter’s contrarian impulse has proven to be the correct one. https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/slayyyter-worst-girl-in-america/ (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ goddamn this noise inside my head (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡ 1 10

Bling 31,633
VERY well deserved. I genuinely haven't listened to anything else since it dropped! Tbh a lot of the more clubby banger songs are the vibe I thought MAYHEM would contain. 1

This album is amazing, usually not my type of style/writing with the lyrics but the music is too gooooood. Gas station, Old Technology, $T.LOSER, YES GODDD, are phenomenal. Let’s hope and settle for a euphoric and ethereal club album for LG8 LG8 out Friday May 15th

StrawberryBlond 15,249
So deserved and I love that she's picking up more reviews for this album. This is her first album to get a proper Metacritic score, hopefully more will follow, it's now rated the same as Robyn's Sexistential. So cheering to see the world start to get it. I hope that, along with critical praise, big label support, her first charted single (Dance...) and an almost sold out tour that it encourages her to keep going for years to come. And the quote: "The Khia asylum was revealed to have been a prison of the audience’s imaginations" - that truly is a thing of beauty.
