^ Even with the Radio 1's BW, it'll still be an uphill struggle for BD to enter the top 10, given the single in itself isn't strong in attracting sales. The best scenario I could think of for BD is to get a better peak than that of TOTGA's.

I would have chosen Legendary Lovers, This is How We Do, or International Smile before Birthday.

The big weekend thing should boost the album more than the single.

don't matter...

rather 100,000 people buying an Album of hers and 20,000 buying the singles, than 100,000 people buying a single and 20,000 buying the album.

It won't even enter TOP 20, mark my words...

Radio One's Big Weekend will help her album rise, but not Birthday... People just don't like the song, not in the UK but everywhere...

This. BTD isn't that far away from 1m sales in the UK, I doubt UV will get close but I'd rather she have some averagely performing singles and get big album sales.

BTD was such a successful era here, I hope she does some TV promotion for UV when it comes out. She has Glastonbury, so she should do.

Ultraviolence will do well here, it's guaranteed. The UK is here for her because her music fits in so well with what's hot right now

and as you mentioned, she has glastonbury... IF she allows her set to be streamed/on tv it'l do wonders for Ultraviolence. Probably make this era just as big as born to die.

Glastonbury is probably the best promo you can do in the UK, if it's done right. Look at Arctic Monkeys and AM if you don't believe me.

Of course she'll let it be streamed. Her label would encourage it

Well yeah, if you're a headliner. Set lists of other acts only really get shown in full during the day, or single performances as highlights. It will help, granted, but I can't remember a time when a non-headline slot has had that much of an effect. But headlining Glasto is a huge slot. Beyonce headlining the day before dropping 4 definitely saved her era here, for sure.
