bornthisway51 16
Born This Way sold 600k *to date*, not the three weeks that Applause has so far had. Of course. It sold 120,000 in two weeks which is currently its only comparison.
SomethingMore 1,701
It would be funny if You Me At SIx would snatch that #1 from Katy.
Cersei 56
It would be funny if You Me At SIx would snatch that #1 from Katy. Not that extreme... but they do have a strong fanbase! They probably will go to like 3 or 2...
Harry 26,836
Of course. It sold 120,000 in two weeks which is currently its only comparison. Will you stop being so negative? We've now known for three weeks straight that Applause is not performing as well as Born This Way in the initial stages, but that's because it followed an era which turned a lot of people off. Applause followed You and I and Marry The Night, whereas Born This Way followed Telephone and Alejandro. Also the fact that Applause's sales have remained consistent since the first week shows that the public are becoming more interested, and she isn't just relying on the fan base sales which pushed the first couple of weeks of Born This Way. It is well documented at this point that Applause is not slaying and breaking records like BTW. We all know that. But for the circumstances, it's doing just fine. If you want to keep being negative go to the CHARTFLOP thread.

Harry 26,836
GUYS I TOLD YOU, YOU ME AT SIX WERE A THREAT they are now a threat to katy though so! I don't think they will threaten Katy. And if I'm not wrong whenever their songs have surged up iTunes they go down soon because they have a big fan base but no one else really cares
