Jase 13,400
I don't know how some of you would cope if you stanned for Britney. I mean, her poor record is sitting at #24 and some people literally meltdown when Gaga drops a couple of spots to #

E24187 615
People are in for a surprise. We are going to have epic meltdown when Katy's opening week for her album blows Gaga's away. Applause vs. Roar Meltdown 2.0 If I've said this once, I've said it a million times.
Meerkat 0
glad about Applause being back into top 5. and yes, Gaga really needs to somehow step up her game for the second single. it would be a pity if ARTPOP didn't have any smash hits. She will. I assume she's been heavily distracted with finishing ARTPOP, but she's gotta hand it in by Sunday, so I expect she'll go all out with promoting single #

I mean, her poor record is sitting at #24 and some people literally meltdown when Gaga drops a couple of spots to #07 Britney was done in the middle of 2000's actually. I didn't even expect her single to do well. However I hoped Gaga could rebound with her new single. Yes, she is doing nicely, but just not as great as I wanted her to do. Arturo 40,746
Just the sight of Applause back in the Top 5 again. It's good that the new releases are only affecting her temporarily and she's remaining stable like an established hit should be doing.
Mills 446
I don't know how some of you would cope if you stanned for Britney. I mean, her poor record is sitting at #24 and some people literally meltdown when Gaga drops a couple of spots to #07 Upon hearing it for the first time, I already somewhat conditioned myself that it won't be able to stay for long in the top 10 of iTunes (given the structure of the song itself), but I never thought it wouldn't debut within the top 10 of the HOT 100. That's kind of surprising for a Britney lead single... in the same way how I never expected Applause to debut like it did. Those two were known for their front-loaded, fan-base driven success in the sales department... until the release of their current singles.
Btrs 10
wait is that good? Kiis as always Z100 is great. It's had 14/15 this past week and she'll probably end with like 16 today I'm not even going to talk about PIIS

Yup, both Applause and WorkB debuted underwhelmingly, the good thing is the former rebounded

However I hoped Gaga could rebound with her new single. Yes, she is doing nicely, but just not as great as I wanted her to do. I beg to disagree. She may be no longer be the album seller like she was during the early 2000s, but she scored 4 out of her 5 HOT 100 #1 hits during the latter part of the past decade until the start of the current one (she even debuted two singles atop the HOT 100 chart). If anything, her singles during the last five years have performed better than her singles during her first five years, at least chart-wise.
