wait teh last time i saw the fox's views it was at 2 million. it's at 60 million now :rip: to music.

MESS @ it being #13 on the h100

Now it's #13 on itunes too. It's a good video.

Meanwhile Lorde's video for Royals is crappy, only 29 million views (2 versions combined) in 3 months  That's why she'll take longer to top Katy and Miley than some people think.

If you ignore the chorus and the lyrics, The Fox actually sounds like a good song.

Both the instrumental and melody are really good, but the lyrics are obviously lacking. I think it could be a deep song if appropriate lyrics were written for it.

Yeah, but I'm just sad that such a nice melody was wasted on that crap :emo:

It makes me SO angry. I wouldn't have minded it smashing, if there lyrics weren't so ****ing dumb. It could've been a beautiful EDM smash.. :(

It's the lyrics that are helping put it where it's at though.

Stargate's production on the Fox is really great, but it's the lyrics that makes the song really stand out. Without either of these two though, it won't get this much attention.

Exactly.

I think if The Fox was a #1 threat it would have taken off much further and faster, given that it's been #3 streaming for 2 weeks and had exposure on TV (Fox network commercials, i heart radio,  and some show like Ellen).

Also, we haven't seen a viral #1 that is primarily comic. Dance crazes yes, alternative hipster fads yes, but not comedy.

I hope so. The least I'd want is for this to block any future singles from the likes of Gaga and even Katy. It's just a scary thought of it possibly becoming a Harlem Shake 2.0 that quite bugs me.

The lyrics may be polarizing but they certainly aren't genenic.

You may not enjoy his humour, but you can't call The Fox's lyrics dumb compared to Brit's Work Bench or Rihanna's Right Now.

Monday. 9/30. It's apparently the same day the music video of Britney's WorkB will also be released.

Lyrically, the only problem I have are the random noises he screams in the chorus. I know it's part of the comedy but it just really doesn't work for me.
