It would be awesome if those stations put Applause on power rotation or at least started spinning more after that. Katy's video was in same predicament as BTW - not needed to start era with a bang, but the longer you savce it the less impact. She had millions of lyrics video views and the VMAs and tons of radio before it came out. We should be more happy about Miley video overshadowing Eminem. He's the real album threat. She is weird (like gaga in the beginning), people love to see what she will do.next. Not to mention WB is really a good song, more #1 worthy than roar.
