The song is at 1.5M right now including the sales from this week [predicted to sell over 450K], so that means it should be crossing 2M after the video. 5M is on lock judging by it's current chart performance. It seems weird to me too that such a small percentage of her views come from the US. I wonder what the breakdown of BR views by location would be. I think that Katy wont be having her BTW but Her Teenage Dream on steroids, everyone thought that the GP will get tired of her if she doesn't change her sound but she proved wrong. everyone thought that Roar will fall as soon as her iTunes banner get removed and that roar is shower and not grower well....she proved wrong. and now no one is thinking that her video wont be big deal but I'm sure that she'll get tons of views and break the VEVO record because half of the views will be from US If I ever learnt something from this thread is that we SUCK at predicting :megaflop: ..... I remember when MTN was released everyone thought that this will be her next #1, and now we keep calming ourselves that Applause is a grower and we should give it time......BUT the main problem here is that Applause's time stats to die because after iTunes festival all big promo spots she had would be gone and she'll leave the song to cope by itself and if Gaga was Katy by now this song would've been exploded on the radio.
