It usually means nothing when it comes to big artists like Gaga, as evidenced by her #20 pop radio debut pre-adds and the fact that 158 out of the 164 Billboard-monitored pop stations played it last week. thanx! Good Morning America was extremely beneficial, the GP got to see what a sweet and talented musician she is, and I really enjoyed how she put to rest the rumors that Applause was about attention. Gaga didn't enter the Hot 100 this week, next week will be when she enters. Katy Perry made it in at #85 so it's not surprising Gaga missed it. You're referring to last week's Hot 100. This week's comes out in two days, on Wednesday. Billboard expects Gaga to enter in the top 10 and Perry or Thicke to be #1.
