If all of you think the video is gonna make the song be hit its not gonna happen. The song is Luke warm and that is that. Just enjoy the song and let's look forward sept 1. The day we get to listen to album tracks I felt the same way for most of the week, but within the past couple days, I realized that I've just been singing the song constantly to myself and always have a craving to listen to it. It's weird, the way I hear the song now is completely different than how I heard it at first. The refrains have turned from weird and garbled at the beginning of the week, to powerful and driving now that I listen to it. I think just like how the songs from The Fame were kinda weird at first (I know Pokerface seems like well-known territory now, but I think we can all admit that the first time we listened to it, it was f*cking weird), but then grew on us to become the amazing hits they are, Applause will also grow on us. That, the radio spins and the VMAs performance might get it to #3 at a PUSH, but it'd be lucky to get that at this rate. Vincent Herbert seriously needs to reevaluate his choices and let Gaga choose her own singles. I mean, seriously, the single was decided by him saying "well, each song you played was better than the last, so I guess we'll go with the last song you played"? Seriously? That's the creative marketing decision behind one of the biggest pop stars on the planet? That whole thing makes me think he/Gaga/whoever thought she would rocket to the top of the charts based on her name alone, regardless of the quality of the song. Instead, they put out a fun and catchy, yet basic and unrelatable song as the lead single, and now it's bitten them on the asses. That's not true she's not passed on radios, she is! not as much as katy but she is! So i don't understand why she decreases so fast opposite to Roar. i think US are really done with her. I mean I know/hope that the video and VMA's will help but it's insane how Lady GaGa is losing to Miley Cyrus. This experience should knock GaGa and her fanbase down a few pegs.
