Paparazzi was still popular at the time Bad Romance was released. But so has Katy And GaGa's points are still going down. If they were decreasing at the same rate, GaGa's points would stay the same. In 8 hours, GaGa has gone down 0.05 points and Blurred Lines has gone up 0.03... if things continue the way they're going, she's going to fall. Even if the video doesn't (just because some people still won't know she's back), the VMA performance, if it's a KILLER one, will hopefully gain everyone's attention + push Applause to #1. But even if it doesn't, she'll still have an amazing and successful era, nonetheless (but I am pretty confident it will get that #1 spot eventually).
