At least it's on the homepage of YouTube. That should help spur some sales.

If Gaga can't hold #2 (or reach #1) until the video drops I will have a hardcore, scary, iconic meltdown that will be spoken of long after the ARTPOP era is finished.

That's not true....because their spincount is on par with Katy's debut at #16 and Gaga's debut at #19 on the pop chart. The numbers may be different, but the general pattern of spins is the same.

they get it right sometimes. they are wrong other times

Applause played 5 times on one of my stations, and 3 on another.

Nowhere near the 18 times Roar was played  :laughga:

Let roar be played to its irrelevance

I really don't think his performance will do that much, everyone and their mother already knows "Blurred Lines" by now.

That's what all said about Adele and she just kept......on.......slaying.

Today isnt evwn over yet. 500 spins so far is okay

It may get to 600, but I doubt it'll be higher than that. And like I said, BL was getting this regularly throughout the summer.

Interscope as more than enough money for a week-long radio deal. Hell, even a three-day deal would've worked wonders.

It looks like the drop in the US might be do to lower radio exposure, and that's completely fine!

Let it grow on radio. It's better than its not front-loaded like Born This Way was. There will be big promo with the App + Video release on the 19th (and its premiering on the highest-rated morning show in America!) and then again for the VMA performance.

Yeah, it's a little disappointing to not have heard Applause at all on the radio today. I didn't hear Roar either, though.

I did, however, hear Right Now like 5 times. They're still trying with that song? :lmao:

Yeah i think Applause needs to be on the radio more. Hoping that since Applause isn't frontloaded that it achieves more longevity
