If Gaga can't hold #2 (or reach #1) until the video drops I will have a hardcore, scary, iconic meltdown that will be spoken of long after the ARTPOP era is finished. And like I said, BL was getting this regularly throughout the summer. Interscope as more than enough money for a week-long radio deal. Hell, even a three-day deal would've worked wonders. It's better than its not front-loaded like Born This Way was. There will be big promo with the App + Video release on the 19th (and its premiering on the highest-rated morning show in America!) and then again for the VMA performance.
