i discussed the cultural aspect because you did too and it's been a general point of discussion here. i know that it's an actual law there, we've been discussing that too and i even mentioned that in my post, did i not? what point have i missed? my issue is both with the law and the culture it has encouraged.

The point of this discussion should not be the use of the flag worldwide since the flag that he disrespected was the argentine one, in Argentina.

And you were the one who quoted me first. My first post was about the legal importance in the most part of latin america.

right. and i really don't like this law or the fatuous attitude it promotes. just a note that your post could've been read from a perspective that has nothing to do with law. and i really don't like the concept of people actually getting personally offended watching some idiot fling a flag at justin bieber from a distance and getting hurt when he uses a microphone stand to sweep it off the stage, a place where it never should've been in the first place, and that the people watching him would consider what he did a crime. yes i know it may technically be a crime but it's just laughable. What is right for you it may be wrong for someone else. Maybe you find this laughable, and maybe another person in the world finds women's rights, d--g's restrictions or freedom laughable too.

Like it or not it's a law and if you are going to a country with laws that you don't like, then you should stay in your country.

I don't want to offend anyone but...they punish you for showing disrespect to a flag/their country? In jail??

They take patriotism seriously over there

I think that is in every country tho.

You get punished if you do that in Germany as well
