Darcklighter22 2,293
Strictly Background Series, is a volume of discs that are released to Radio Stations, TV, etc, for Promo purposes. Universal Music Group are the ones who develop these and send them to who get's them, then at times their sold on ebay for out of ass amounts. 200 Euros is what this just went for as well as the #5 series. Which is why I said, do not expect more GaGa instrumentals to be on this, because Teeth was the only included on #8. Bad Romance also came from this Strictly Background set, but was from #6 I believe. Several various artists, are included on these. So it is not solely, one. Did that clear up any confusion? And I leaked, 'The Edge of Glory' Radio Edit Instrumental. As far as my knowledge takes me, the Official Album Version Instrumental has not leaked yet. Some user here, made a full version, but it is not legit, all signs lead to FanMade. I got the Radio Edit Instrumental out of the record pool, which is where I also pulled 'Marry The Night' Radio Edit Instrumental as well. what's that? kp_centi 12
For the eight millionth time, we do not have TEOG instrumental in full. We only have the radio edit and a fanmade full version. Well I have the official then, it's from the PROMO CDs like i said, The Promo CD also has a radio edit, which is 4:20 and album which is 5:20. The Instrumental is 5:20 and it filters out fine with the Album version

Oh Sir Taurean.... you fascinate my mind :rose: I have a few questions (mostly stupid ) that rose to my thoughts when I read this... 1. What record label releases the Strictly Background series? (or does Universal have it's own pressings made?) 2. Are the Strictly Background series albums in physical form, with cd cases, liner notes, paper tray, etc that may have any contact information or details of producers, compiler's, etc? Or are they digital format releases? (when I say releases, I mean to the radio station/ TV promoter / elite lucky DJ, ect) 3. Is there a list of all the volumes and thier tracklistings availible for general knowledge? 4. You reference a "record pool".... this is curious. What is a record pool? (can I play in it with your cutie-pie son and floaties :haha:) Do you mean a web forum, a mailing list, a communal center for filesharing? Oh Chica is interested :) 5. Did you leak the TEOG radio edit and MTN tracks from a physical or digital copy? 6. Thank you so much for reading all of this and bearing with my naivete 7. Can you email me at your earliest convience? :rose:   :hugtackle: Do YOU own the 4' by 6' Perfect Illusion promo Poster? Will pay you for it. VisKip 0
A record pool is a website where they offer digital downloads of the latest singles (wav & mp3, sometimes only mp3's) for DJ's/Radio mixers, some are free, most have a paid monthly subscription plan. :golfclap:

Can you email me at your earliest convience? :rose:   :hugtackle: Firstly, these are not stupid questions Katharine :) 1. I believe Universal has it's own pressings made, as the covers always have the Universal logo stamped on it. 2. The Strictly Background series, comes in Physical form with a front and back paper tray. Contact info is on the back tray, with email, phone numbers, names etc, of who you would need to contact to get future Strictly releases. Although I would like to mention, if you do email any kind of label I would recommend, not having a (Yahoo, AOL or Hotmail email) they usually do not respond to those as, TV stations and Radio, Advertising companies, have their own email address, which is far more professional looking than a Yahoo or Hotmail account. 3. I will email you an actual photograph of the Front & Back if you would like for an example. 4. A Record Pool, is indeed a source for Remixers/DJ's to get their goodies. Weekly, items are released in Instrumental/Acapella format. Mixes etc, are available as well. Although, Acapellas are not released for every artist. You usually have to pay for a yearly subscription, to gain access. 5. 'The Edge of Glory' and 'Marry The Night' Radio Edit Instrumentals, came from a digital source. I wish we received physical copies still! 6. No problemo senorita. :) 7. Consider it done :)
