It also has David Bowie influences too bowie + bjork influences >>>> and idk why, but i feel like we're sort of heading into the Vespertine of gaga's career, im basing this on like nothing, lol, but i think creatively and artistically, they both share a same elevated mood. also vespertine is all about intimacy and love in a way, and sort of s-xual entendre. It crossed my mind that she might be becoming one of those disconnected stars that only sings about unrelatable famous stuff. Like how rappers get famous singing about struggles then they rap about money and b---hes and nobody cares as much lol. But the way she has made fame her artwork is amazing. I think it will always be a part of her work, and I'm sure there will be relatable love songs on the rest of the album. Applause may be a love song for all we know.
