Like.... at the 2011 VMAs, Katy, Nicki & company looked ridiculous because of Jo, imo. They still were on TFM Gaga, know what I mean? They looked dated. Yes, she paved the way for more creative, original styles but she is not the sole reason why pop stars became more experimental with fashion. MTE! Britney's outfits weren't that weird either. Britney's outfits weren't that weird either. This tbh. Rihanna grew into/found her own style, Gaga had no hand in it. And I don't see the Britney one much either, her Onyx Hotel tour had some pretty crazy outfits along with her Toxic video which had like 6(?) outfit changes... fashion has always been there for Britney. But I guess she could've been influenced a little if her stylists took elements from Gaga. Tbh I feel like Kesha actually took a lot of cues from Gaga with some performances from her current era but I never hear people talk about that really.
