I know that she isn't the first to wear outrageous/crazy outfits but it seems (I don't know much about pop stars before 2008. ) but I think she had an impact on the other pop stars. Some examples: Katy Perry - Wore normal clothes. And then she strayed wearing odd and unusual colorful outfits. Rihanna - Dressed normal but then started to wear weird outfits. Britney Spears - Wore weird/crazy outfit on her Femme Fatale Tour even though she never wore those type of outfits before. Miley Cyrus - Dresed normal but then started to dress like a bird. Gaga was the fashion "ice breaker" that made it possible for crazy fashion to be considered mainstream again! What would these artists be like without Gaga? Â THIS IS THE REAL PROOF THAT FASHION HAS CHANGED! Tell me 1 artists that had 6 costume changes for 1 award show BEFORE Gaga came on the scene? Â Yes, she paved the way for more creative, original styles but she is not the sole reason why pop stars became more experimental with fashion.
