(30 characters in total) 1. Mario 2. Luigi 3. Princess Peach 4. Daisy 5. Rosalina 6. Metal Mario 7. Yoshi 8. Toad 9. Koopa 10. Shyguy 11. Lakitu 12. Toadette 13. Baby Mario 14. Baby Luigi 15. King Boo, Birdo, Paratroppa, Petey Piranha aka the entire Mario Kart Double Dash line-up. I miss Special Items that were tied with characters (Mario bros had fireballs, Baby Mario Bros had chain chomp, etc) but that would just make everyone choose Koopa/Paratroppa again with their Triple Green/Red shell like they did with DD. This was to balance out those items so that they weren't like guaranteed protection against 3 attacking items. Since they orbit now, they cant consistently block (3) incoming attacks. Ahhh I just watched some footage on YouTube and yeah they can be held behind you after all I saw a video last week and I could only see them in the character's hands so I was like I'm kind of glad they've powered down the triple items, except the thought of bananas orbiting a kart will take some getting used to. On Mario Kart 7 it was possible that you still got hit by an item when you had 2 items or 1 orbiting you And here I am without a Wii U I don't have one either, I'm just gonna buy the bundle when Mario Kart 8 comes out Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
