Pierre 10,480
Katy should snatch Robin Thicke's weave. And then Gaga snatch Katy's weave. ❝Is not blue, not turquoise, not lapis. It's actually cerulean❞.
Guest
**** Robin, just takeover Mariah already. I'm sick of waiting tbh. And only 35%???? Wow, 1D took a HUGE chunk out of BL. If they managed to do that with only 320k sales and low airplay, Gaga should have no problem getting #1. Now I'm starting to wonder why we're all so worried, lol. Now with the music video coming on the same day, it's a guaranteed #1.Meanwhile, I really hope Katy releases before Gaga. That way, she'll weaken BL, and then Gaga can come and blow them both away. I'm sure Capitol is waiting for Gaga to weaken and outshine BL for a week, so I predict 26/8 for Roar.
Klou 2,414
"Lines" maintains its lead on the Hot 100 – extending its mark for the longest command this year – despite a monstrous challenge from One Direction's "Song." "Lines" leads by a comfortable margin, however, registering 35% more overall points than the chart's new runner-up. ("Lines" loses just 2% of its total from last week.) Guys, this is important and really good news. This shows that while the song is rising in airplay, it's overall points are dropping. I mean it's not a ton, but at least it's moving in the right direction. Edited July 31, 2013 by Klou

I have no problems with it being huge, I like it and Gaga will go #1 anyway, but DAMN this is still huge. I hope a sappy ballad will break BL's radio record. It would be funny. Both BL and WBT are great songs in their genre and deserved their radio success.

Pop Art 1,773
I really hope gaga gets #1. 1D got #2 with 322k sales, 7,9m streaming and 11m AI. Gaga should do a lot better in sales and AI. I don't know about streaming though. One Direction got way more streams than that. The video itself got 12.3 million views (AKA streams) in the first 24 hours alone. Bt1 5,213
What do you guys think that will happen with Selena, Demi and Miley after Katy and Gaga releases their new singles? I think, at this point, that only Miley has a chance to stay. Edited July 31, 2013 by Florin
Mariano 958
Still wondering why it didn't outsold JD and PF. BR is Gaga's second best selling single WW tho

I think, at this point, that only Miley has a chance to stay. They're going to get lost in the shuffle, imo. They're middle-of-the-road filler artists, and they succeed most when the big guns aren't around. The Complete My Album effect likely will prevent the sales from exceeding 400K. Do you think that could push sales below 300K?
WarriorPrince 1
Same Love once again fails to reach the top 10, they should have made a new music video for the re-release. On another note, 1D did a lot better than i expected. It seems like Gaga does have a chance at that #1 spot. She will probably sell much more than 1D and have more AI (US radio ignores 1D so much ). She won't reach their streaming power, but if she has around 3M-5M US streams... She can get that #1 after all
