In Lana's case, she literally needed this remix for the song to even chart at all, so I think it's appropriate and a smart move on Interscope's part. However, when people are simply greedy for that #1, such as Katy's label, and they put out a remix that was obviously put out just to fulfill that desire, that is when I and I assume most others have a problem.
