So the SINGLE will be eligible for the Grammys but the ALBUM will not, yes?

I believe the album is released ON the very deadline for Grammy nominations, so I think it's eligible.

Lady Gaga's single is eligible for a Grammy. Her album is not, and will likely be submitted for the following year.

It's good in the sense she's not putting all of her eggs in one basket. She'll have a major single to submit for SOTY/ROTY this year, and then some singles and the album itself for the following year.

Justin Timberlake: Both are eligible.

That may be good too because JT is coming for wigs with 20/20. It's been his year.

Also, Gaga will perform a future single on the Grammy's! :excited2:

Dangerous Man

yeah, this year's album of the year is really more on JT. Imagine if both the vol. 1 and vol. 2 get noms. Or are they considered as 1 entry only though?

Unorthodox Jukebox might also have a chance, so as Red.. Idk about Kanye's and Jay-Z's.

not also sure if they'll include Unapologetic..

There are quite a few contenders of AOTY this year, that's true. I think it'll be JT, Bruno, Rih, Kanye, and some indie artist.

Justin is not a lock to win AOTY; he's not even a lock to win Best Pop Vocal Album.

Are we forgetting about Bruno Mars, who was nominated for 7 Grammys (and won one, against a post-humous MICHAEL JACKSON for that matter) before he ever released an album, and got ROTY/AOTY/SOTY nominations (Justin has never even been nominated in the lattermost category) when he did release his album?
