Cherry 17
Both songs are going to flop in the long run. Ke$ha should have released "Thinking of You" and Rihanna simply should have recorded better material for her album.
Klou 2,414
.Rihanna is a core artist on pop and rhythmic. Ke$ha doesn't have rhythmic and she lost staple status on pop after "Die Young". Not surprising that Rihanna has better airplay. My point is that the public's reception to Crazy Kids is pretty good. It has 10 million less people a week hearing it on the radio, yet it's almost 100 spots higher on iTunes.
chris777 112
But the only copy selling anything is her solo version. So other than the music video, I don't see how that means anything. Still a music video (even if the will.i.am version is doing bad)

Rihanna's only major spot for "Right Now" IIRC was the NBA commercial which mostly appeals to men who probably wouldn't care for a song like "RN". Meanwhile Ke$ha had a music video premiere and interview on MTV, where her reality show season finale aired the same night.Public response to either song, sales-wise, isn't that great.edit also, "Right Now" does not have a video out. chris777 112
.I know, I'm just comparing hers to Crazy Kids, which a lot of people on here think is flopping for whatever reason. I thought it was going to be a hit, it sounds like one (to me)
jhonyguy04 3
it keeps rising on itunes, but in pop is getting negative AI. it's too early to tell.

Crazy Kids has the potential to at least be a moderate hit if radio picks it up enough, though. Edited June 22, 2013 by Klou
Cherry 17
Anyway... how did that heinous Jason Derulo song survive past its second week? Wasn't it like top ten on radio and it's still a steady top 30 on iTunes? Edited June 22, 2013 by Cherry
nick4bty 2,758
Crazy Kids probably won't be a hit. If it isn't past 15 million AI at this point, there's no hope for it. It's been "on" the radio for nearly 2 months now.
CHANTEL 2
Tbh i'm happy Rihanna is flopping with RN (or at least for now) It's the worst song on Unapologetic she had sooo much better material but her team decides to release RN Numb, Phresh Out The Runway, Lost In Paradise, Nobody's Buisness, Jump, What Now are much better Edited June 22, 2013 by Rways

Dangerous Man 9,245
Wow, I'm now addicted to Blurred Lines. No wonder it is smashing all-over the place. This bop could be the most selling digital song all-time, well even if that will make me delusional. Edited June 22, 2013 by Jude Matthew "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body." Mills 446
is Taylor on charts? I thought that song with Ed Sheeran was a potential Top 10 track... Yes, she still is. Her single "Everything Has Changed" with Ed Sheeran is moving up in the HOT 100, as it jumps from 91-79 this week. While 22 has finally left the top 20 as it slips down to #32 this week.
